Welcome! This document explains how new users can register for the HST Sira platform. It covers prerequisites, step-by-step registration, email verification, common errors & fixes, security tips, and how to get help. Signup Page


1. Overview

This guide helps users create accounts on the HST Sira system to search/post jobs, generate CVs, manage applications, and discover talent. It applies to:

  • Job Seekers (create profile, apply for jobs, generate CVs)
  • Companies / Employers (create company account, post jobs, manage applicants)
  • Recruiters (create recruiter account, search for talent)

2. Prerequisites

Before signing up:

  • A valid email address (used for account activation and password recovery)
  • A modern web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari) updated to the latest version
  • Internet connection
  • Optional: a mobile device if using two-factor authentication (2FA) during registration

3. Quick Sign-Up Steps

  1. Open your browser and go to the platform URL:
    https://dev.sira.hst-et.com/ (or your organization’s custom URL)
  2. Click Sign Up or Register in the top-right corner.
  3. Select your account type:
    • Job Seeker
    • Company / Employer
    • Recruiter
  4. Fill out the registration form:
    • Full Name / Company Name
    • Email Address
    • Password (follow the password policy)
    • Confirm Password
  5. Accept the Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy if prompted.
  6. (Optional) Subscribe to newsletters or notifications.
  7. Click Register or Create Account.

Expected result: A confirmation message appears asking you to verify your email.


4. Email Verification / Account Activation

  1. Check your email for a verification message from no-reply@hst-et.com.
  2. Click the activation link in the email (expires in 24 hours unless stated otherwise).
  3. After clicking the link, you will be redirected to the platform and may be asked to:
    • Complete your profile
    • Upload a profile picture or company logo
    • Add job preferences (for job seekers)
  4. Sign in using your newly created credentials.

Tip: If you don’t receive the activation email:

  • Check your spam/junk folder
  • Search for hst-et.com
  • Request a new activation link from the registration page

5. Password Guidelines

When creating a password:

  • Minimum 12 characters
  • Include uppercase and lowercase letters
  • Include numbers
  • Include at least one special character (e.g., !, @, #, $)
  • Avoid common words or sequences

6. Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

If 2FA is enabled during registration:

  1. After signing up, you may be prompted to set up 2FA.
  2. Scan the QR code with an authenticator app or enter your mobile number for SMS verification.
  3. Enter the 6-digit code provided by the app or SMS.
  4. Save backup recovery codes securely.

7. Sign-Up Using SSO / Organization Login

If your company uses Single Sign-On (SSO):

  1. Click Sign Up with [Provider] (e.g., Google, Microsoft, SAML)
  2. Follow the organization login steps
  3. Complete any additional profile details on HST Sira

If SSO fails, contact your IT team or Support.


8. Common Error Messages & Fixes

  • “Email already in use”

    • Use a different email or reset password for existing account.
  • “Password does not meet requirements”

    • Ensure it follows the password policy (length, characters, numbers, symbols).
  • “Invalid email format”

  • “Activation link expired”

    • Request a new activation email from the sign-up page.
  • “Network error / Unable to reach server”

    • Check your internet connection and try again.
    • Contact Support if the issue persists.

9. Security Best Practices

  • Use a strong, unique password for your account.
  • Enable 2FA if available.
  • Never share passwords or recovery codes.
  • Keep your email account secure, as it is tied to your platform login.

  • Check the email used for registration is correct.
  • Verify password meets all requirements.
  • Check spam/junk folder for activation emails.
  • Try a different browser or private/incognito mode if issues persist.
